How is the “Due Date” parameter calculated in Evolve?

For Standard Workflow (such as One Step, Two Step), the default due date is set to 1 day. If you wish to modify the default due date for a task, you can adjust the configuration key called StandardWorkflowTaskDueDays.

For Form and Excel Workflow, the due dates are calculated based on the properties “Duration” and “DurationUnit” of the Activity/Approval node or the workflow itself.

Where does the data for due date calculation come from?

The due date is calculated using the properties “Duration” and “DurationUnit”. These properties can be defined for individual Activity nodes, Approval nodes, or the workflow process.

How are working days and hours determined?

Evolve does not consider working hours; instead, it treats 24 hours as a day. Working days are determined based on the value of the “BusinessCalendar” key. If this key is set to true, weekends are included in the calculation.

Are weekends and holidays included? If so, which country’s holidays are considered?

By default, weekends are included in the calculation. If there is a need to include or exclude weekends or holidays from the calculation, you can utilize the configuration key called BusinessCalendar and Holiday key. The specific country’s holidays considered can be configured accordingly.
