SAP and Automate Product Compatibility Policy
Winshuttle conducts compatibility assessments between the latest released version of the Winshuttle Function Module (WFM) and Studio and new releases of the SAP Graphical User Interface (GUI) introduced by SAP. Unlike seeking official certification, Winshuttle’s approach involves performing comprehensive regression testing that exceeds the requirements of SAP’s certification program. The testing of the SAP GUI, in conjunction with the latest Studio release, encompasses various scenarios involving Connect, User Governance, Foundation, Studio with Evolve, and Studio with Studio Manager.
Winshuttle ensures that a minor product version or a hotfix is released to support each new SAP GUI version. The availability of a supported Studio version is influenced by the changes introduced in the new SAP product. The timeframe for delivering a compatible Studio version varies and can be referred to in Table 3 provided below.
